Decided to try out another local coffee shop and glad we bump into this one. Came on a Saturday morning of the Labour Day weekend. The interior reminded me of the John Wick movie and the ambience was really relaxing with some good chilled out tunes. We had wonderful service. They walk us through their coffee’s since we told them we normally do Starbucks. They also don’t up charge for Soy or Almond Milk which was a plus! I had the there signature Americano and the wife had a latte with almond milk which tasted delicious. We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful, cozy place. The owner is knowledgeable, kind and generous. So friendly, he truly made my day. I was getting a gift for my partner and I knew nothing as I don’t drink coffee and he took the time to explain everything to me. The environment is quiet and peaceful. Affordable pricing, great product, wonderful staff. 10/10 recommend to try!

Great local coffee shop!! Comfy seating, wonderful employees and quality coffee & fresh pastries for decent prices (they also offer alternative milks for no additional price). which I recommend the cheddar & chive biscuit, especially warmed up with some butter. Eglinton is notoriously hard to keep businesses open on but it’s no wonder they’ve made a home here. *The sound can reverberate in the store a bit but I just put in some headphones and had no problem after that.

This is my first time going to the Mad Bean and I’m glad I did. I got an iced chai tea that was delicious and found the staff super friendly and the atmosphere really cozy and comfortable. If I’m ever nearby, I’ll definitely be stopping by again!

A cozy family-run coffee shop, The Mad Bean has a large variety of coffee and tea options with the huge perk of no added charge for non-dairy milk. They typically have bagels and baked goods available for purchase as well. Keep in mind they do close early on weekends and are closed most holidays and long weekend if you're thinking about stopping by. Slightly inconvenient but love that they take their staff/family time seriously!

Had an early morning meeting in the area. With a little time before start, I wanted to get a tea and a quick bite. I was not really familiar with the area, so a coworker suggested The Mad Bean, and professed about their Americano. I'm not a coffee guy so I knew I wouldn't be able to share that experience. However another coworker who joined me on my Tea run did end up granbing the Americano and he loved it. I ordered an Ear Grey and Blueberry Scone. Which was great. The Earl Grey was great even with only 1 bag, i usually get 2.
